9 April 2020 | City of Melbourne The City of Melbourne has announced a local economic stimulus package valued at more than $10 million to keep Melburnians in jobs and support city businesses affected by the COVID-19 virus. As part of the package, the City of Melbourne will host a COVID-19 Virtual Business Support Summit in collaboration with key industry leaders and will showcase all levels of government working together with the business sector to meet the challenges of COVID-19. Lord Mayor Sally Capp, Deputy Lord Mayor Arron Wood and councillors invite you to hear from industry representatives and experts to discuss the current state of the economy, business support initiatives and planning towards recovery.
